Headstart Homes has been absolutely fantastic to deal with. Kelly had a couple of health issues during the build that resulted in her being in hospital. Headstart were so great. They were determined to keep the build on track but whilst also being really sensitive to what was going on. They really helped Shaun too, because he had to make a lot of decisions without me around. They also sent a bunch of flowers / choccy's. Just that experience was fantastic. You didn't feel like a number. It felt like they really cared which was so nice because building a home is a big life event, and so is getting put in hospital too.

Headstart Homes did an excellent job constructing our house. They were attentive to our needs and preferences, and the quality of their workmanship was top-notch. Communication throughout the project was clear and timely. We are very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend them to others.

Process to date has been outstanding. I went to your Lincoln show home after a recommendation from Sue Henderson who built with you, and Fiona Renton from Sandalwood who recommended Hallmark to my mum. First impressions were excellent, I went to a few show homes the weekend before but no one was as easy to talk to or as interested as Hayley. I’ve asked many questions, and always had quick knowledgeable responses.

Everyone else I’ve met when visiting your show homes, Caitlin, Mark and Lina, have all been nice, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly too.

We are so pleased and grateful to work with you. We are absolutely stoked by the process so far. Hayley has been great to deal with from the start accomodating all the upgrades within our budget and explaining the individual items of the upgrade. We engaged with two other famous builders prior to meeting Hayley at your Rolleston show home on the opening day.

Like she said home building doesn’t have to be stressful and we were quite stressed until we met Hayley, as our titles were approaching fast we were not able to find the right builder. We have now and were overly impressed by the quality and finish of your build.

Thanks to you for being flexible with the contract deposit and Hayley for thinking outside the box. It’s already off to a great start. Would be recommended building with you to other friends and family? Absolutely!! In fact we have already recommended Hallmark homes to a friend of mine who is in a early stage of building process and sorting out finance.

We couldn't be happier living in a Homestar rated home. It has ensured we are living in a warm and ventilated house which was the perfect environment to bring our newborn into as we moved the week she was born.There are financial benefits too of spending a higher initial amount like cheaper electricity bills in winter and a lower interest rate from the bank on our home loan

We approached Headstart Homes to assist with building our dream home. This also being our first home, we were very new to the process and what was involved and Hallmark made this so effortless for us. They were in constant communication via email, calls and face to face meetings throughout the entire build so we always knew at what stage things were at and what was scheduled next. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured into making any hasty decisions also offering up their perspectives on certain choices which made things so much easier. If you’re ever looking at building a home we would hands down recommend Headstart. You will not be disappointed with the wealth of knowledge, professionalism and workmanship overall.

We are a young couple with 2 kids that moved from Auckland to the South Island in late 2022. This is our second time building our home from the ground up. If there is one consistent feedback i've received from the building suppliers in our area - it's that Hallmark Homes definitely knows what they're doing. I can attest to this, as we appreciate the expert advice given to help increase the value of our home from the design to the layout in a very practical manner. The consultants do what they say - and are easy and lovely to deal with. With much attention and focus on our build - our building consent was approved in record time - 6 working days!
